Accreditation of the First Cardioprotected Educational Center in the Country

CardioHeredia, in its work of Social Responsibility raised the project cardioprotected educational units throughout the Ecuadorian territory, which taught basic CPR maneuvers and the use of AED in emergency situations, with the endorsement of the Ecuadorian Medical Federation.
A total of 800 students and administrative, educational and security personnel participated in this project, and an automatic cardioverter defibrillator was donated for use at the school.
Cardioprotected City Campaign Chone - province of Manabí

Together with the Municipality of Chone, we worked on the project of the first Cardioprotected City of the Ecuadorian coast, with the endorsement of the Ecuadorian Medical Federation.
The objective was to prepare the population to be able to give an immediate response to a patient who presents a cardiorespiratory arrest, and thus work in a timely, fast and agile manner until the corresponding medical help is available. In this campaign, training was provided both in theory and in practice with CPR simulators.
The event was attended by cab drivers, university students from different faculties, professors, administrative personnel of the municipality, paramedics, nurses and civilian personnel.
