A coffee with Adrián Baranchuk “How to avoid cerebrovascular diseases?”

“A Coffee with Adrián Baranchuk”, was the name of the discussion held by CardioHeredia with the aim of educating, raising awareness and preserving the cerebrovascular health of the people of Guayaquil.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Adrian Baranchuk, Argentine clinical cardiologist and electrophysiologist, president of the Inter-American Society of Cardiology SIAC, who spoke about this medical emergency characterized by the interruption or reduction of blood supply to a part of the brain, causing lasting brain damage, long-term disability or even death.

With this health promotion activity, the CardioHeredia Center for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Cardiovascular Diseases reaffirms its commitment to preserve integral health by contributing to the reduction of the morbidity and mortality rate of Ecuadorians.

Signing of Agreement with Fundación Operación Sonrisa

An inter-institutional cooperation agreement was signed with Fundación Operación Sonrisa to work jointly in medical, educational, research, social impact, teaching activities for cleft patients, recruitment and pre- and post-surgical treatment.

This alliance promotes and provides comprehensive care to those in need, especially to cleft patients and their families with specialty treatment.
